I hear that Teresa cuts hair dry. How should I show up for my appointment?

Teresa does cut most curly and wavy hair dry. There are some heads of hair that she cuts wet for a precision effect or for artistic lines. Dry cutting is a method used for softer lines that does not take away from the curl or wave as the main design feature.

Teresa will ask you to show up for your appointment after having washed and dried your hair into the style you most often wear your hair. It is important to refrain from putting your hair up into a pony tail or into a barrette on the day of your haircut. Another option is to spritz your hair with water or a styling spritz to bring out the curls before a cut. Make sure your hair is dry prior to your appointment.

How much time does it take to do my hair?

It will take about one hour and one half for a haircut, two hours for a color and three hours for a color and haircut. This includes time to change into a client gown, plus consultation, cleansing and drying time. Please allow adequate time so Teresa can do her best work. A suggestion is to allow for one half hour more--just in case. Patience with this makes for good work.
